Enhancing the Performance of European Entrepreneurs: The Function of Support and Accompaniment Organisations in Clustered Environments

Abstract

Using lessons from the UK, this paper investigates how accompaniment agencies improve entrepreneurial success throughout Europe. It seeks to assess how agency governance and institutional architecture affect entrepreneurial outcomes. Using academic literature, European institutional databases, and policy papers, a qualitative secondary data technique was used. A cluster analysis was employed to categorise the European nations based on important entrepreneurial ecosystem variables in order to supplement the qualitative method. The results demonstrate that the decentralised collaborative and inclusive agency models greatly enhance ecosystem sustainability, startup survivability, and innovation capability. Europe's shift to resilient and high-performing entrepreneurial ecosystems may be enhanced by increasing inclusive initiatives and strengthening institutional flexibility.
