Abstract

The rapidly expanding electric vehicle (EV) sector is greatly affected by government policies that aim to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and promote greener forms of transportation. To help governments reach their climate goals and reduce their dependency on fossil fuels, several legislative frameworks have been established to encourage the usage of electric vehicles. how changes in government policy have impacted the growth of the electric vehicle sector. the effects of subsidies, tax breaks, pollution limits, infrastructure building, and manufacturing requirements on the electric car market in key areas such as China, Europe, and North America. the effectiveness of various regional initiatives in accelerating the use of electric vehicles. Additionally, it explores the potential for public-private partnerships and international cooperation to facilitate the expansion of EV markets. guiding future legislation toward sustainability and integration; assisting legislators in improving the global transportation system; and removing barriers to the expansion of the electric car sector.
