Structures Supporting Startups In Algeria

Abstract

In recent years, the Algerian government has focused most of its attention on the small and emerging enterprises sector and the knowledge economy, which required the provision of an appropriate ecosystem to push the holders of creative ideas and innovative projects to realize them on the ground. This research paper aimed to clarify the basic concepts of startups and shed light on the most important structures supporting startups in Algeria. The study concluded that these bodies contribute to supporting and financing start-up projects through the services they provide for the establishment and development of these projects and contributing to social and economic development, so the study recommended conducting more information and awareness campaigns to introduce the support structures and services that exist across the country and to issue more detailed and organized laws and regulations about these bodies to benefit more from their services.
